Admission to Engineering Instts,in USA is thru the Scholastic Aptitude Test(SAT exam)but wht is the Pre SAT?

2. The PSAT is basically a shorter version of the SAT that you take, usually in your sophomore or junior year, as practice for the SAT. It doesn't count for anything except to give you an indication of what your SAT score will be, so you know if you need to study more or not!
3. the PSAT is a test similar to the SAT. junior high school students can take partly as practice for the SAT and partly to see if they qualifiy for a national merit scholarship.
